A post-doc position is available in the Laboratory of Human Genetics at Department of Health Sciences, University of Eastern Piedmont in Novara to work on molecular aspects of neurodegenerative disorders.
The general aim of the project is to investigate the genetics and environmental factors that underlie development of neurodegenerative diseases. The strategy involves genetic analysis and in vitro testing using Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells obtained from cells of patients carrying a strong genetic trigger and normal controls.
We are looking for a motivated candidate with PhD title and a good expertise in any of the following fields: genetics, NGS, bioinformatics, molecular and cell biology.
The successful candidate will be offered a 2– year position (assegno di ricercar) with possible extension.
